Yeah, I'll be keeping an eye on Heisey....Will,

Yeah, I'll be keeping an eye on Heisey. It'll be interesting so see what type of role he gets and how he does with it.

You've mentioned his hand position before, so it's something that's definitely on my radar for 2011. I'm not sure he needs to make any changes just yet, especially after his success climbing the ladder, but maybe an adjustment is needed. Next year will answer many questions on Heisey.

Thanks for the comment!!

Best,
LarkLark11https://www.blogger.com/profile/06571198327064220683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6347536209014288641.post-42614734826494305432011-01-15T18:27:59.232-08:002011-01-15T18:27:59.232-08:00After watching him in the show I feel like he need...After watching him in the show I feel like he needs to do a better job of getting his hands down & into hitting position quicker. I think this sometimes results in a bit of a looping motion with his bat and ends up in alot of swing and misses. I know at one point he worked on his timing (getting his hands into hitting position) which is why he finally broke out in the minors. Seems he could use a bit more seasoning here.

Something to look for next season. Where is his hands when the ball comes out of the pitchers hand, they should be in hitting position at that point and not a second later. Just my amateur scouting opinion.Willnoreply@blogger.com
